Mc Donald's at the end of the day !!!!!!

I totally had nothing to do yesterday as my final semester exams had finished the week before that . So did the excitement of being a free bird .So with nothing to do ,I was experiencing the height of boredom . So i thought i will call my friend and see if he was free so we could loaf around for sometime and do some window shopping in the mall . So i hurriedly messaged him . But he being a very good friend returned my message with a call and said he still had an exam to go and had to study for it . So i thought of a plan B .I messaged ALL my friends simultaneously asking if they were free to go out with me .(oh did i forget to tell you that this happened about 8.00 a.m on a day when any normal sane person would be reluctant to get up from the bed as it was our vacation time) . When done with texting the message to every possible person i knew ( friends and acquaintance), i waited patiently (rather impatiently) for them to return my message . Then as if some miracle had happened , a friend of mine called up only to say that he cannot go out with me as he had to go for work (did i tell you that all this happened on a Monday morning ). So i scored off his name from the list . Then i called one of my classmates to ask what he was doing for the day . When he answered the call ,I realized that i had woken him from his sleep . And then he started to lament about his assignment which was due and he had not done it yet . (i hope he has finished and submitted his assignment by now ) . So i, instead of asking him if he could come out with me ,encouraged him to finish his assignment . I had already started to feel like a huge bummer . Then i called up my Chinese friend ,my last straw i thought . Again when i called her i had woken her from her sleep . So i felt sorry for that and begged her pardon (one of my new friends) .But she soon recovered from her sleep and started to speak about things which she had done the last night with her house mates. Then i started to leak the reason why i called her .And to my surprise she invited me for a movie and then for a dinner . I was so excited that i noted down the time and venue and other important stuff( i must mention that i forgot to realize that i will be the only person other than my friend who can speak english ).So i eagerly accepted the invitation and started to get ready .
When i reached the theatre my chinese friend was already waiting for me . So we all decided to go to the cinema to watch the movie "Sex and the city " . We were way earlier than the showtime so we decided to wait . And so my chinese friend and her friend started to speak in their local language. All i could do was look at them and smile while they did all the talking part . I silently praying for the time to run so we could watch the movie instead of waiting and doing nothing(especially me) .And so show began and i watched it HAPPILY .After the movie was over , we decided to have Japanese food .So we started to walk towards a restaurant , But to our horror it was closed . We all were exhausted by then and we badly wanted to eat something . So everyone started to suggest places were we could go and eat and we went to check out those places .But all those restaurants denied to serve us food as we were late (most of the restaurants do not serve after 9 .00). So our last resort was Mc Donalds . So without any objection from any one we headed there . And since i work at Mc Donalds i get a discount on the food i purchase . So i offered to buy them all food . We all ate happily and then all the other chinese girls tried to thank me . It was then i realized why they hesitated to talk to me ,the reason being they did not know enough english to communicate with others . So they shyly thanked me . But i must say my chinese friend did try to give me a good company .
So we all bid farewell to each other and i left home
WHAT A DAY !!!!!!!

Pro's and Con's

A friend of mine ,who i forced to glance at my BLOG happily commented that he was the youngest when he started to work . To my suprise (then , not anymore) he said "it was fun". When i asked him how he felt about working there , he said "i knew i was just working casually." He said he could buy nice clothes , buy costly stuff and more importantly pay off his rent . But then I asked him what does he feel about people doing casual jobs related to their field of study. He did agree to what i felt about doing a job in the feild of study and he said he also wished that could happen . But what he replied baffled me . He said "I was studying 4 subjects. So I did not want to work much(fair enough).I am pretty sure if you are in a lab(we are students of life sciences),they'll want you to be more prompt with work, but now if i wanna go out for a party..i can go"
What am to comment about this !!!!!!!
I should say " where is the party " !!!!!!!

Working as a part timer

As I am from an Indian family where children learn to survive with their parent's income , working part time was an extremely novel experience for me . I had no past experience of even offering an helping hand in the kitchen or any of the house hold chores. My role as an offspring till i left home was to be a couch potato, and to fulfill my gustatory appetite.
So when i had a chance of working as a part timer , i was quite excited about my new JOB. I eagerly attended the orientations and other preparatory courses offered by Mc Donald's. So once my shifts commenced , i began to realise that i was no match for the other employees there. My work involved a lot of weight lifts and other physical though i was always engaged in customer service . I am not complaining about the job load but about the potentials of Indian kids who never are given a chance to work as part timers. I was always spellbound when the kids (most of the employees were way younger than me ) did these jobs they never cared or they never even twitched their faces as i did because jobs like mopping , changing bins and few others were not for people who had a quite an educational qualification in India. But soon I realised that it was not unconventional in western countries and all jobs were respected alike .
The best part about the job , I must confess , is that i learnt how to act quickly to situations , how to be friendly with people without any prejudice and how to earn money for myself $$$$$$$
